My favorite part of working at LLB is
having the opportunity to assist our borrowers in their effort to pursue their passions. Whether purchasing the hunting property they have always desired or the multi-generational family farm, it is extremely rewarding to be able to share in their experience.
I do what I do (at LLB) because
each work day provides a unique experience. From closing loans out in the field, to taking applications at our borrowers’ home or business, to inspecting timber tracts, each day is day sure to bring a new experience.
My favorite thing to do outside work is
making memories with family and friends. Whether sitting by a fire at the hunting camp or wetting a line in the bayou, it’s the time spent together that is most important.
What most people don’t know about me is
I have a twin brother. Being a twin has been a very rewarding experience as we have always pushed each other to better ourselves through competition.
The person who inspires me most is
my Mother. She has taught me the value of hard work and putting others before oneself. She has been an excellent role model in my life.
I give back by
volunteering at various 4-H events across the state. As the husband of a 4-H agent, I often consider myself a “Volun-told” rather than a Volunteer. I also serve as Treasurer for the Louisiana Council of Farmer Co-Operatives and am an active member of the South LA Team Sorting Association.
I am most grateful for
the many blessings in my life. I work with some of the most amazing individuals you will ever meet and I come home to my loving wife.
A shining professional moment is
once a year, I volunteer to spend time at the Louisiana Council of Farmer Co-operatives Youth Conference at Camp Grant Walker in Pollock, LA. This weekend-long camp educates high school 4-H’ers of the many benefits rural co-operatives provide its members.
My favorite part of working at LLB is
that EVERY part is connected to the country way of life.
I do what I do (at LLB) because
I really believe in Farm Credit and the support it gives to rural America.
My favorite thing to do outside work is
spending time with my wife, Mary, and my two kids, Russ and Jillian, doing whatever comes our way.
What most people don’t know about me is that

The people who inspire me the most are
my parents. My dad, Russell and mom, Susan, are a team, a great, loving, supportive team.
I give back by
coaching baseball for a youth league in Baton Rouge. I am also on several committees at my church, and I am the treasurer for the Louisiana Council of Farmer Cooperatives.
I am most grateful for
the good Lord leading me through this life. I am blessed, at home and at work.
Aside from food/water/shelter, the one thing I couldn’t go a day without is
my kids greeting me at the door when I get home.
